DocuWare API Workflow Configuration

This panel is used to configure an API upload of submitted packages directly to a DocuWare system.

DocuWare App Server - this String Builder value points to your DocuWare server.  For DocuWare cloud customers, this will be https://youridentifier.docuware.cloud/DocuWare/Platform/

DocuWare App Server - this String Builder value is your organization identifier created when your DocuWare instance is created

DocuWare user - this String Builder value is the login to the DocuWare system

DocuWare password - this String Builder value is the password to the DocuWare system

Once the DocuWare Server Configuration is completed, you can save using the save icon on the toolbar, then continue below

  1. Click here to add an additional output to file cabinet mapping.  The default display already creates 1 blank mapping.
  2. Click this button to make a request from the DocuWare server for the available file cabinets for the login user.  Then you can choose one of these file cabinets from a dropdown and press the + button below the file cabinet dropdown and Forms inMotion will populate #3 with the file cabinet system ID.  In the example below, choosing "Documents" created a String Builder value with the static text of the correct file cabinet ID.
  3. This String Builder value should be the file cabinet ID into which the output documents should be written
  4. This File Builder specifies which files should be written into the DocuWare system
  5. This button adds additional keyword mapping configuration items.  By default a single blank one is already created initially
  6. This String Builder value specifies the keyword value to use in this mapping
  7. Just like item #2, this button will fetch the available fields for the specified file cabinet you already configured above.  In this example, after the button is pressed, the dropdown is populated, and the user choose "Sales Order Number", then pressed + beside #3 to create that static text value for the mapping
  8. This String Builder value represents the name of a field in the DocuWare system into which the value created in #7 will be written at upload time

Make sure you save your changes using the save button on the toolbar before leaving this page
