Form Field Properties

The Form Field Properties dialog allows the configuration of required field and conditional forms.  To create a new field configuration click the + on the green toolbar.  This will redirect you to the field property configuration page.

On the field property configuration page you have the following options:

  1. Specify the form that contains the field or signature you need to assign a property to
  2. Pick the field OR signature on that form
  3. Checking this box makes that field or signature required before the client can submit this form package
  4. Checking this box will convert a field on a PDF into a barcode.  This works by reading the value from the form field, then converting that into the barcode and writing that barcode image back into the EXACT SAME SIZE AND LOCATION AS THE FIELD.  when you check this box, you can choose from any of the supported barcode types.  Default is 3of9 if none is specified.
  5. This and #6 are used for conditional forms.  Conditional forms are other forms in this same package that are hidden by default and shown whenever the value in the field you specified in #2 matches the text value you entered in #5
  6. This is the conditional form in this package that is hidden by default.  This form will only be shown when the value in the field you specified in #2 matches the text value you entered in #5
  7. When you are finished with your changes make sure you save before returning to the package edit page
